Qatar Airways Group Reports Record-Breaking Financial Performance

Profits soar over 28% to QAR 7.85 billion (US$2.15 billion), driven by renewed growth strategy

Qatar Airways Group has announced the most robust financial results in its history, achieving a net profit of QAR 7.85 billion (US$2.15 billion) for the 2024/25 fiscal year—an increase of more than QAR 1.7 billion (US$0.5 billion) compared to the previous year. This milestone underscores the success of the Group’s renewed “Qatar Airways 2.0” strategy, which has propelled performance across all divisions, including cargo, catering, and Qatar Duty Free.

Qatar Airways Cargo, recognized as the world’s leading air freight carrier, reported a 17% revenue increase and its strongest performance since the COVID-19 era. The division attributes its success to enhanced digitalisation, data-driven decision-making, agile market responses, and industry-leading service reliability.

Commenting on the achievement, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, Group Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways, stated:
